Highchair adventures

Brayden has had many adventures in the high chair this past week. He's still in the experimental stages of solid foods, and it has been so fun to watch his reaction to different tastes and textures. So far, he's eaten rice cereal, oatmeal, applesauce, bananas, and sweet potatoes (not necessarily in that order). He's liked most everything so far, except for bananas (although I put some in oatmeal this morning and he was a fan). We're going to try squash, carrots, peas, and pears next.

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day, everyone!

Graduation

I graduated college yesterday! The ceremony was 3 1/2 hours long...eek! Brayden still wasn't feeling quite well enough to attend, so we're going to go sometime this week to take pictures with him like we did for Jason's graduation in November. Now comes the real fun...finding jobs! :/

I think I can finally report that Brayden's stomach virus is on the uphill turn. I say that cautiously, because you just never know! Thanks for all the prayers! :) Here is a picture of our sweet little boy while he was sick.

Stomach virus

If you get a chance, say a prayer for sweet baby Brayden. He's had a stomach virus for the past few days. The doctor doesn't want to give him medicine so the virus will run it's course, so there's not much we can do except keep him from getting dehydrated. Pray the virus goes away soon - it's breaking my heart to see him sick.

29 weeks!

This week is a very important week in the life of the Bellon's - I (Kristen) officially finished college! :) It's so exciting to be done. I have NO idea where the last four years went, but we're excited about the future and whatever God may have in store when we get there. The graduation ceremony is next Saturday (the 23rd), and then it will all be over.

Six (and a half) month stats

Brayden finally had his 6 month appointment this morning. Our sweet boy weighs in a 15 lbs, 12 ounces and is 26 inches long. He did well with the shots - he barely cried! He's growing up so much!

Week in Lake Charles

Brayden and I spent last week in Lake Charles while Jason was on his motorcycle trip. Brayden loved all the extra attention and loved playing with his favorite cousin, Macky.

Hopefully we'll be moving soon - Jason has a job interview next Thursday (my birthday!). Pray it goes well! We can't wait to be closer to all of our dear loved ones.
